Director/Producer Justin Hunt has been
using the medium of sounds and pictures to tell stories for 12 years now,
after beginning as a broadcast journalist at the age of 18.
Between 1996 and 2003, the Farmington,
New Mexico native worked for PBS and NBC affiliates all over New Mexico,
including KRWG in Las Cruces, KOBF in Farmington, KOBR in Roswell and KOB
TV in Albuquerque.

During his career in broadcasting, Hunt
earned dozens of journalistic awards that included several Best Story
awards (General News, Feature News, Investigative Reporting and Sports),
Best Photography, Best Television Performance, and more.
In the four years after graduating
college, Hunt won the prestigious News Reporter of the Year Award
from the New Mexico Broadcasters Association three times.
In 2003, Hunt retired from broadcast
journalism and began to focus solely on his production company, Time &
Tide Productions, Inc. Through Time & Tide, Hunt has produced hundreds of
video projects, most notably ‘James & Erniefied’, a documentation
of Native American comics James Junes and Ernest Tsosie III,
which has sold just short of 10,000 copies. He also wrote, produced,
directed and hosted Dream Home Drive, a television real estate
program, which was broadcast statewide around New Mexico.
